Women in Technology
“Women in Technology Day” Approximately 50 seventh-grade girls from surrounding school districts are invited to participate in a day of technology related activities.
This special program was initiated because seventh grade girls are at the age which girls often begin to lose interest in technology. They often regain their interest later, in college, but by that time they may be behind their peers in their technology education. This program is designed to help girls retain their enthusiasm by getting hands-on experience in college labs and by meeting career women in technology related professions. For more information or to register your child or class, please contact Felicia Stallworth at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside by calling 262-595-2312 or via email at felicia.stallworth@uwp.edu
