The Interdisciplinary Studies major is a broad, flexible program whose breadth
ensures coverage of several behavioral and social science disciplines. This
major allows the student to design a program based on courses in the behavioral
and social sciences.
There are three tracks or concentrations within the Interdisciplinary Studies
major:

Students design a course of study built around a particular theme or problem in the social and behavioral sciences.WOMEN'S & GENDER STUDIES
This track provides a systematic analysis of women's experiences in society. Its goal is to provide insights and generate activities that will lead to an improvement in the position of women, transforming society in the process.
The LEADERSHIP CERTIFICATE offers students enhanced understanding of the personal qualities, interpersonal dynamics, and social patterns that influence leadership efforts by allowing them to develop their own leadership style.
