Each year, UW-Parkside theatre students present a series of thought-provoking dramas and entertaining comedies.
UW-Parkside presents great performances by great artists. Past performers have included folk legend Arlo Gutherie, award-winning dancers in The Nutcracker ballet, and the 2000 Grammy-nominated Riverside Symphony. Performances are held in the Communication Arts Theatre.
These are films you will not see at the neighborhood cinema. The Foreign Film Series features critically acclaimed films from all over the world. Films are shown in the Union Cinema and are FREE to students on Wednesday nights.
Noon Concert Series
Students, staff and the community are welcome to come and enjoy the sounds of a brass ensemble, cool jazz, classical strings, or many other musical styles during the noon hour. Most concerts take place in the Union Cinema.
Art Exhibits
Students and faculty exhibit their artwork in the Communications Arts Gallery.
PAB
The Parkside Activities Board is the main programming board of UW-Parkside. Our purpose is to provide the student population with a diverse, well-rounded selection of entertainment. It is our goal to
build community through these events and create a connection between the students and the university. We also strive to provide co-curricular learning experiences that help accentuate what is
learned in the classroom. Bottom line is we SUPPLY FUN!
