This is the emergency guide for the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
The purpose of this guide is to protect the lives of UW-Parkside students, faculty, staff, and campus guests during emergencies.
The emergencies covered by this guide include severe weather, fires, utility failures, physical/mental health emergencies, bomb threats, suspicious mail/backpacks/packages, explosions, aberrant behavior, violent crime, civil disorder, and hazardous waste. In addition, this guide contains information on emergency contacts and emergency communications, evacuation techniques, and the campus' crisis management team.
