The Foundation
The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Foundation, Inc. is recognized as a nonprofit organization operating for charitable funding of educational programs and services at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. The Foundation has a growing portfolio and has been instrumental in developing many scholarships and supporting much of the new construction on campus. An independent Board of Directors, a group of community leaders from southeastern Wisconsin, governs the Foundation. Board members consult with the chancellor, faculty and staff on issues of mutual interest that have significant impact on the university and the surrounding communities. The directors are local and regional advocates for the university and recognize the importance of supporting activities that further the Foundation’s mission of attracting new sources of support. The Foundation also makes funds available to underwrite university initiatives that will influence, attract and cultivate prospective donors, and build greater institutional visibility.
